Prices weren't bad for an upper scale Asian restaurant. We enjoyed the side dish of Buddha Veggie plate with sauteed yellow squash, snow peas, green beans and mushrooms. The duck was flavorful, tender, not dry or overdone. ($26) We've had Peking Duck in Hong Kong and many other cities in the US and abroad. No table side slicing of the duck at Pearl. Half Peking Duck was delightful and was pre-cut with Hoisin sauce. Took awhile for cocktails to arrive but I don't think that was our servers fault. Xavier did a great job and was attentive and friendly. was helpful in finding our perfect date night table. It was quiet enough to have a conversation. The side booths are private, quiet, comfortable with more romantic lighting.
The center of the restaurant has more surgical lighting (if that's your taste).
